Who we are

Washmates is the data controller for the personal details you give us on this website. For anything about your data, email us at kishwer01@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you ask for a quote we collect:

• the services you're interested in (roof, driveway or patio cleaning);
• your postcode and the first line of your address;
• whether you own the property, rent it out or are acting for the owner;
• your name, email address and phone number;
• your consent to be contacted, and when you gave it.

To protect the form from abuse, our systems also record your IP address and browser details with your enquiry.

Why we use it

We use your details to contact you about your enquiry, understand the job, give you a quote and, if you go ahead, arrange the work. We don't sell your details or use them for unrelated marketing.

Our lawful basis

• Consent: you tick a box agreeing that we can contact you about your enquiry.
• Steps before a contract: we need your details to quote for and arrange the work you asked about.
• Advertising cookies are also based on consent, and stay off unless you accept them.

You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.

Who processes it for us

• Microsoft Azure hosts this website and stores your enquiry.
• Google (Google Ads) measures whether our adverts lead to enquiries.
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram) measures whether our adverts lead to enquiries, only if you accept cookies.

We don't send your name, email, phone number or address to Google or Meta. They receive only an enquiry reference so the same enquiry isn't counted twice.

If you go ahead with a quote, we may share your contact details and address with the cleaning team who will do the work, so they can arrange it with you.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, and to meet our legal obligations. You can ask us to delete them sooner.

Cookies

On washmates.co.uk we use the Google tag with Google Consent Mode. Until you choose, Google's advertising and analytics storage is set to denied, so no advertising cookies are stored. If you press Accept, Google may store advertising cookies and the Meta Pixel is loaded. If you press Reject, neither happens. We remember your choice in your browser's local storage.

You can change your mind at any time: open cookie settings.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent. Email kishwer01@gmail.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
